Critical Race Theory
What about Critical Race Theory? I see many christians embracing CRT as though this is some new revelation from the throne of God, and not just Christians of color but “white evangelicals.” I have heard many of them acknowledge that while some of it is poison there is some good in it, they say “eat the meat and spit out the bones.” But this is foolish and ignorant of how spiritual laws work. Your spirit, your heart is a garden (1 Corinthians 3:9, Matthew 13:11-23, Mark 4:10-25, Luke 8:9-18) and just like our spirits have been reBIRTHED from an incorruptible seed, the WORD of God, there are seeds that if allowed to be planted will birth corruption, in other words DEATH and DESTRUCTION.(1 Peter 1:23) Words are seeds, which can be either the WORDS of God or the WORDS of Satan, EVERY SEED HAS A GENETIC CODE AND THE GENETIC CODE OF THE SEED DETERMINES THE LIFE IT PRODUCES. The genetic code of critical race theory is designed by Satan himself, pushed by atheists to produce bitterness, unforgiveness, hatred, vengeance and division which will cause death, death in a person and death to a culture and nation. It seems some christians either do not know or have forgotten how deception works. The devil is tricky, he does not come with a seed that is so obviously evil that you would reject it immediately. He masquerades his seeds as something that seems right, this is actually what a tare seed is, a seed that in the beginning cannot be distinguished from good wheat until fully grown. (Matthew 13:24-30) CRT appears to want to end racism and explains that RACE was a social construct designed to divide people into categories, with some superior and inferior “races of people.” While it is sadly true that “race” was a social construct used to dehumanize people, CRT goes on to do the same thing by categorizing and dividing people into categories, labeling every “white person,” male and Christians as the oppressors with the end game being the culture concluding that Christianity and the Father God is the cause of the oppression. This teaching is not new and has been taught in academia for decades and is now creeping into elementary schools as well as already being taught in middle and high schools. This is completely unbiblical, not from the Spirit of God and should be rejected entirely. Sadly Christians are swallowing this up, allowing this seed to germinate and produce bitterness, rage and vengeance within them. We must recognize and be on guard as to what kind of seed we are allowing to be planted in our hearts (Proverbs 4:23), once a seed of bitterness takes root it grows up to contaminate and pollute many people causing them to separate themselves from the Grace of God. (Hebrews 12:15) Jesus said..“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit (Luke 6:43), this is why I reject this idea of “eat the meat and spit out the bones” if the seed that produced the meat was planted by Satan then the meat you are eating is contaminated. You cannot plant seeds of division and reap unity, you cannot plant seeds of bitterness and reap forgiveness or seeds of guilt/condemnation and reap righteousness. Jesus said .. the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.(John 6:63) When you hear something that causes a thought of resentment, bitterness or anger- recognize the spirit behind it is not from God and immediately reject it. (1 John 4:1-5)
Christians in the African American and Hispanic community must be aware how the devil is trying to use us as a SHIELD to sneak his deception into the church and nation. Obadiah 1:3 says “The pride of your heart has deceived you”.. When we are more “proud” of the color of our skin than we are being Christian we are a target for the devil to deceive us. There is a question we need to ask ourselves...Am I a Christian before I am an African American? Am I Christian before I am an Hispanic? (And since I am both I will answer yes to both) While Jesus was teaching he was told about his mother and brothers wanting to speak to him, he said “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” All Christians should be able to say this, I do not care what color someone is, if they are born again, doing the will of the same father they are more “my people,” “my family” than those who have the same skin color but are not born again. And I will have community, pray, worship and go to battle with them. I know I am not the only “Christian of Color” unashamed to say this.
