2 Corinthians 3:18 says: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord has placed within us the creative power to become what we see, if we can see it inside we can have it, we can do it and become it! When we are really in Faith we can SEE IT happening! The enemy also knows this truth and wants to paint an image of defeat and failure, of us not being able to pay our bills, getting sick and not getting better, of the division in America not improving. He wants this dark picture inside of you to the point you do not have any hope and cannot see any light, he paints this picture with what you hear and will use any available voice to paint it. We must diligently be on guard as to what we are hearing and believing as truth, if we believe his lies that is all we will SEE around us.
Ephesians 6:16 (NIV) says..In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. The devil is very sneaky, he doesn’t announce that he is going to bring a deceptive thought or word before he does but you can identify the source of the thought by what kind of image it’s painting. So anything that contradicts the Word of God and our faith we must reject it and not let it pierce our hearts to bring an image of darkness even though it may be a fact in the natural, facts can and do change but TRUTH never changes. The truth is You have been rescued from the dominion of darkness and brought into the kingdom of the Son he loves (Colossians 1:13) and even though you are in this world, your are not of the world (John 17:14-16). The truth is If God be for you who can be against you (Romans 8:31) and There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee (Joshua 1:5). We need to hear and meditate on these faith filled words until it produces an image of victory (Joshua 1:8) and it supersedes anything we see in the natural. When we have overcome these thoughts, no longer doubting in our hearts or seeing a different image than the image God wants us to have but believing or SEEING that those things which we say will come to pass THEN we will have whatever we say (Mark 11:23). We must believe what God said first and then we will SEE it. Psalm 27:13 says I had fainted unless I believed to SEE the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. We too can believe to SEE God’s goodness in the midst of chaos and we will SEE it!
